Long COVID is a wide range of symptoms that persist for months and even years after COVID-19 infection and can affect almost every organ in the body, including the brain, heart, lungs, kidneys, immune system, and more.

Laura caught COVID-19 in February 2020, before tests were widely available and when an estimated 97-99 percent of all COVID-19 infections went undetected. Because she doesn’t have a lab test result, Laura has been unable to receive service at a Long COVID clinic despite showing a wide range of symptoms clearly associated with Long COVID.
